Bangladeshi young tennis player Rakib Hossain, has been selected to play in the ‘ITF Asian Under-14 Development Championship Tennis Tournament 2018 Division-1’ as a team member of Division-2. Evaluating his performance in the Division-2 tournament he has been selected for the Division-1 tournament.  

Previously, a team of under-14 including three male players and three female players participated in the   ‘ITF Asian Under-14 Development Championship Tennis Tournament 2018 Division-2’ held in Vietnam. Among the players participated in the Division-2, only Rakib Hossain made the cut to be selected for the Division-1 tournament for his bright performance in the Division-2.

Besides Rakib Hossain this year, Henry Pithul Mondol, Mohammad Ishtiaque and Delwar Hossain from Bangladesh were also selected earlier to play for the ITF team. ‘ITF Asian Under-14 Development Championship Tennis Tournament 2018 Division-1’ will be hosted by Thailand in Bangkok from May 5 to May 20.
