Detective Branch of Dhaka Metropolitan Police early yesterday arrested an alleged criminal along with a sophisticated pistol. The arrested was identified as Md Mokbul Hossain, who was involved in illegal arms and drug trading in the capital. Talking to The Independent, Deputy Police Commissioner Muntasirul Islam Ronny said getting secret information, a team of DB led by senior assistant commissioner Hasan Arafat raided in Rampura area around 2am.
