A book titled ‘Forashi Bhasha O Shahitya’ (French Language and Literature) written in Bangla by Professor Dr Mahmud Shah Qureshi will be launched today at the Auditorium Nouvelle Vague of Alliance Frangaise de Dhaka (AFD) of Dhanmondi in the capital.
 French Ambassador Marie-Annick Bourdin will attend the event as chief guest today at 5pm.
Professor Dr Mahmud Shah Qureshi is a major friend of Bangladesh-France relations, following his role as the interpreter for André Malraux during his visit with Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in 1973.
