RAJSHAHI: Speakers at a closing ceremony of training programme said leadership training always plays pioneering role towards flourishing latent talent and moral values among the students, reports BSS. So, they stressed the need for arranging such training for the students of higher seats of learning for equipping them with modern knowledge for the sake of cherished national development in future. They viewed there is no alternative to generate community leadership from among the students to take forward the nation successfully and that is very important to bring a qualitative change everywhere in the society. Besides, higher seats of learning both public and private of the country should take the responsibilities of extending all requisite supports towards the students so that they are encouraged towards the nation building process, they added. The observations came from the closing and certificate-giving ceremony of a four-day training course titled “Active citizens Youth Leadership Training” held at Postal Academy in the city yesterday. The Hunger Project and British Council jointly organised the course in association with Active Citizens Programme where 36 students from different departments of Rajshahi University attended.
