Seminar on management control system held

Kushtia: A seminar titled "Management Control Systems in Ready-Made Garment (RMG) Industry of Bangladesh" was held at Islamic University (IU) on Sunday. Accounting and Information Systems (AIS) department of the university  organised it at seminar room of the department in the morning. PhD fellow Mohammad Ahsan Uddin, assistant professor of Accounting department of Premier University, Chittagong presented the his 1st seminar paper under the supervisor of Professor Dr Arabinda Saha of IU's AIS department. Professor M Abdus Shaheed Miah, chairman of AIS department, presided  over the seminar.

Muktisangram cultural fest begins at JU

SAVAR: A four-day Muktisangram Cultural Festival -2018 began on Sunday on Jahangirnagar University (JU) campus.With the slogan 'Muktir Aloy Alokito Kori Bhubon', Teacher-Student Centre (TSC) of the university organised the festival marking the 48th Independence and National Day of the country. JU Vice Chancellor Prof Farzana Islam accompanied with Proctor Prof Tapan Kumar Shaha and Director of TSC Professor Bashir Ahmed inaugurated the festival on Central Cafeteria premises in the morning. The four-day cultural festival features award handover to freedom fighters, staging dramas, making human flag at the central playground and cultural festival performed by Jahangirnagar University Cultural Alliance at Selim Al Deen muktamancha.
