The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) yesterday summoned Ha-Meem group owner A K Azad, also ex- president of Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FBCCI), for quizzing over allegation of amassing wealth illegally, reports UNB.
The summon letter, signed by Mir Mohammad Jainul Abedin, director of ACC, asked Azad to appear before ACC office on April 3, said its Public Relations officer Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya.
A K Azad, chairman and managing director of Ha-Meem group, is also the owner of two media outlets.
On Tuesday, the Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (Rajuk) demolished parts of his Gulshan house for constructing it allegedly without any approved design.
