Apurba, Safa to share screen twice in a day

Popular Bangladeshi artistes Ziaul Faruq Apurba and Safa Kabir are set to share screen together twice in a row for the first time on Pahela Baishakh (the first day of Bangla calendar). Under the direction of Mabrur Rashid Bannah the duo will appear in two tele-dramas consecutively titled ‘Tonima’ and ‘Meyeta’. The scripts were penned by the director himself.

Mabrur Rashid Bannah confirms to DhakaLive that the production of ‘Tonima’ has already been completed, while the production of ‘Meyeta’ is still in process.

Apurba said, “I have worked under Mabrur Rashid Bannah earlier in various projects and they were very good. Our last Valentine tele-drama ‘Bekar’ got a huge positive response”

“Safa has the spirit for delivering good performance and I always try my best to help out my co-artist as much possible. It appears to me that in line with my performance, my co-artist also needs to deliver the same devotion”, Apurba added

Safa expressed herself saying, “It was a great experience working with Apurba. Usually, I talk less with my senior artists in a bid to show respect, and also take my time to mingle with them. However, this time the matter was different with Apurba because of his cordial behaviour and cooperative nature.

“Both the tele-dramas -‘Tonima’ and ‘Meyeta’ production went smoothly and I am really hopeful about them”, she added.

The director informed that the tele-drama ‘Tonima’ will be telecast under the official YouTube channel of  Sarwar Tube while the Ozon Entertainment official YouTube channel will telecast ‘Meyeta’ on Pahela Baishakh. l
