A five-day long television drama festival ‘Annada Alo- Charunirom short-length drama festival 2018’ will begin on Monday in the capital, reports UNB.
The inaugural ceremony of the event will be held around 3pm at the Shawkat Ali Memorial Auditorium of the Public Library in Shahbagh.
The 10th edition of the festival will screen a total of 24 popular short-length dramas which were aired on different satellite channels in 2017.
Earlier, all channels decided to stop the airing of the one-hour length drama in 2008 while Charunirom started campaigning with the slogan ‘Revive the one-hour length television drama’.
The organisation has been arranging the short-length drama festival and conferring award since 2009 to continue its (short-length drama) smooth airing.
