Mentioning that Japan is the third most attractive IT market in the world which is experiencing a shrinking manpower, State Minister for ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak yesterday said Bangladesh wants to send trained IT engineers to its market taking the opportunity, reports UNB.
He made the remarks while addressing a certificate awarding ceremony for the 1st batch trainees of the "Bangladesh-Japan ICT Engineers' Training Program (B-JET)' at the Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC) Auditorium.
The BCC in association with JICA Bangladesh Office organised the event.
Japanese Ambassador to Bangladesh Hiroyasu IZUMI was present at the programme as a special guest while JICA Chief Representative Takatoshi Nishikata and BCC Executive Director were also present on the occasion.
