After a hiatus of five long years, audience-admired actress-director-singer Ishita is set to return to the country’s music arena once again. The artiste has recently rendered a new song titled ‘Jege Thaka Mon’, written by Sohel Arman and music arrangement by Adit. DhakaLive has news that alongside rendering the song, Ishita has directed the music video of the song as well.

The shooting for the music video of the Ishita’s comeback song was completed yesterday in Gazipur and Uttara of the capital. Young artistes Ador and Payeliya Payel have starred as models in the music video.

About her return to music, Ishita said, “It makes me profoundly happy and joyful. I really liked the lyrics and the music of the song, and this is the very reason that I wanted to gift it to the audience.”

“Also, Ador and Payel did a good job in the music video. I hope that it will be available to the audience at the end of March”, she added.

Five years back, Ishita lent her vocal to a song, which music arrangement was done by Fuad, for the last time. Meanwhile, she was offered to do many songs, but she had to reject the proposals because of some issues.

Ishita’s noted albums include ‘Raat Nijhum’, ‘Bhulonoa Amay’ and ‘Kulsum’, among others.
