Four notable films by four noted filmmakers--Harunur Rashid, Shah Alam Kiran, Humayun Ahmed and Fakhrul Arefeen Khan --will be screened today at the TSC Auditorium of Dhaka University in the capital. The films are being screened in the ongoing 17th edition of the ‘Amar Bhasar Chalachitra’ film festival organised by the Dhaka University Film Society (DUFS). Harunur Rashid’s Liberation War film ‘Megher Onek Rong’(1976) will be screened today at 10am, well-known director Shah Alam Kiran’s film ‘Sujon Sokhi’ (1994) will be screened at 12:45pm while noted writer and director Humayun Ahmed’s Liberation War film ‘Shyamol Chhaya’ (2005) will screen at 3:30pm and Fakhrul Arefeen Khan’s Liberation War film ‘Bhuban Majhi’(2017) at 6:30pm.
