Bangladesh House of Volunteers Foundation in association with Water Aid is going to take part in the Stockholm Junior Water Prize Bangladesh (SJWPBD)-2018 for the fourth time, reports UNB.
According to the organisers, SJWPBD is a national competition where the winning team represents Bangladesh at the Stockholm Junior Water Prize in Sweden. It is a part of World Water Week organised by Stockholm International Institute.
The international Stockholm Junior Water Prize (SJWP) contest is being held during the World Water Week in Stockholm each August and gathers the world's brightest young minds to create real solutions for the global water crisis. The goal of the competition is to inspire young people to engage in water and environmental issues. Thousands of participants from more than 30 countries compete for a spot in the international finals. Here, finalists get to meet other water innovators, make lasting connections and are inspired to solve global water problems.
In this competition, winning team gets the prize of USD15, 000. High school and college-level students' aged between 15 and 20 can participate in this competition. This year, students who want to participate in this competition have to register by March 10.

Highlighting the country, Mastermind School of Bangladesh secured the second position in the competition and received Diploma of Excellency in the previous year.
