RAJUK  drive begins in Uttara

Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (Rajuk) yestedray conducted an eviction drive in the capital's Uttara residential area and removed unauthorised portion of a number of buildings and fined Taka five lakh to its owners’, reports BSS. A RAJUK mobile court, led by executive magistrate Jasmin Akhtar and authorised officer Ashraful Islam, conducted the drive in the area and fined Taka five lakh to ‘Akhtar Furniture’ for using four floors of a six-storey building as commercial spaces illegally at residential plot of 113/A at road no-7 in Uttara . Besides, the building of ‘Aktar Furniture’ was removed and ordered to partially evict the showroom of ‘Rangs-Toshiba’ in the parking place and asked to remove the goods within 15 days.
