KUSHTIA: Information Minister Hasanul Haque Inu yesterday said those who are trying to save BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia and her son Tarique Rahman, have no conception of democracy, reports BSS. “To make the country safe, no mercy should be shown to the perpetrators of August 21 grenade attack and arson and terrorism unleashed by Khaleda Zia. Those who are trying to save her from trial for committing heinous offences and her son Tarique Rahman from the case of August 21 grenade attack, have flawed conception of democracy,” he said. The minister said this while talking to journalists prior to attending the annual sports competition and prize distribution ceremony at Pilot Secondary Girls High School under Bheramara upazila of the district. About the Section 57 of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Act, Inu said a Cyber Crime Act is under process. After completion of the Act, it would be considered whether there is necessity of Section 57, he added.
