The second volume of Xi Jinping: The Governance of China has sold over ten million copies around the world as of January 18.

The new volume, released in English November 7, 2017, is a collection of 99 of Xi’s speeches, conversations, instructions and letters collected between August 18, 2014 and September 29, 2017. The articles are divided into 17 topics, and the book includes annotations. The second volume depicts the practices of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, with Xi as its core, in uniting and leading the Chinese people to uphold and develop socialism with Chinese characteristics in a new era. It also reflects the development and main contents of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for A New Era. The new book provides Chinese wisdom and solutions concerning the development of a community with a shared future for mankind, as well as in promoting peace and development.
