Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Shahriar Mahmud Adnan put her on one-day remand in each case after hearing on the remand petitions. Police sought a 30-day remand for Syeda Ashifa Ashrafi Papiya in the three separate cases filed with the police stations. The court also rejected bail petition of her lawyer Aynul Abedin Mejbah.
