MA Awal has been elected chairman of AB Bank Limited while Feroz Ahmed was made vice-chairman of the bank, the bank said in a press statement.

The board of directors of the bank elected them at its 643rd meeting held in the capital on Monday.

Awal joined AB Bank Ltd as director on July 16, 2008.  

He is also the director of AB International

Finance Limited (ABIFL), Hong Kong.

Feroz Ahmed is the chairman of Elite Paint Group and the managing director of Elite International Ltd, Hexagon Chemical Complex Ltd and Ahmed Securities Services Ltd among others, the statement added.
