Roktim Sangha, a second division hockey league team, has  formed new executive committee recently for a three-year term. The committee has been changed with an aim to form a powerful team to give a championship fight in the second division hockey league. Major (retd) Shahbuddin Chakladar, a former national hockey team captain and a recipient of National Sports Award and Ziaur Rahman Sonnet  have been made the new president and general secretary respectively of the Sher-e-Bangla Nagar based club.
Eminent publisher Mohiuddin Ahmed and first captain of Bangladesh national hockey  team Abdus Sadeq have been made chief patron and chief advisor of the club respectively. Ten vice-president have also been included in the new body.
