Bangladesh ready to send skilled workers

Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment Minister Nurul Islam said Bangladesh is ready to send skilled workers as per the demands of Mauritius government, reports BSS.

“Now, Bangladesh is developing more skilled and trained workers and the country is ready to send any type of skilled and trained workers to fulfill the demands of the Mauritius government,” he said while meeting with Mauritius President Dr Ameenah Gurib-Fakim at his State House in Mauritius on Monday, said an official release received in the capital yesterday.

Nurul Islam expressed his gratuity to the Mauritius government for taking Bangladeshi workers.

The Mauritius president praised the activities of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and said Bangladesh is moving forward under her dynamic leadership. She also praised the overall development activities of the Bangladesh government, including women empowerment and progress in economic field.

Nurul Islam urged the Mauritius government to recruit more workers from Bangladesh. He congratulated the Mauritius president on behalf of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and invited her to visit Bangladesh. Senior official of the Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment Ministry were present in the meeting, the release said.
