NARSINGDI: Bangladesh Krishi Bank (BKB) in the region disbursed TK 29, 89, 90,000 as agricultural loans among 2,557 farmers of the district during the first six months of the current fiscal year, reports BSS.

Bank officials today said BKB earmarked to disburse loan of Taka 84.56 crore among the farmers in the district during the current fiscal.

The sum of loan disbursement by the Bank through 21 branches in the district stands at 25 percent till December 31, 2017.

Meanwhile BKB Narsingdi branch realized Tk 28,03,32,000 from 3073 defaulters during the same period against the target of realizing of outstanding loans was fixed 84.56 crore.
