RAJSHAHI: Speakers at a review meeting here today said the victims of human trafficking need integrated support to lessen their plights and vulnerabilities with proper rehabilitation in society, reports BSS. They mentioned that the human trafficking victims are subjected to repression and oppression by their surroundings people. So there should be effective and time-befitting measures for ensuring their access to family and social integration.
They came up with the remarks at district directory review meeting at a hotel in the city. Sachetan Rajshahi, a rights-based organisation, arranged the meeting in association with Bangladesh Counter Trafficking in Persons Programme. USAID and Winrock International jointly supported the meeting.
