A ten-day solo painting exhibition titled ‘Conversation with Soil’ by renowned artist Monsur Ul Karim will begin today at Gallery Chitrak, Dhanmondi in the capital. Eminent artist professor Rafiqun Nabi will inaugurate the exhibition as chief guest today on the gallery premises, while art connoisseur Md Abdur Rahim (Feroz), Vice Chairman of DBL Group will be present as special guest. Architect and poet Rabiul Husain will preside over the ceremony.

This the 25th solo painting exhibition of the artist Monsur Ul Karim. He completed his bachelor's from Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Dhaka and masters' from University of Chittagong. He was awarded Ekushey Padak in 2009 by the Government of Bangladesh.

The exhibition will remain open to all every day from 10am to 8pm until January 15.
