Freshers’ reception held at BUP

The freshers' reception for the newly-enrolled students of the Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) was held on its campus on Wednesday. Speaking on the occasion, BUP vice chancellor Major General Md Salahuddin Miaji urged the students to be attentive in their study to contribute to the ongoing development process of Bangladesh.  BUP registrar Brigadier General Abul Kashem Md Ibrahim, pro-vice  chancellor Prof Abul Kashem Mozumder, BUP faculty members and its senior officials were, among others, present at the function.

Seminar on global int’l relations held at RU

The International Relations (IR) department of Rajshahi University (RU) organised a day-long seminar on ‘global int’l relations’ on the campus on Tuesday. Prof Abul Quasem, History Department and Shariful Islam, PhD researcher of South Asian University of India, addressed as the speakers while Dr Faizur Rahman, Dean of Social Science faculty was in the chair.  Shariful Islam, assistant professor of IR department conducted the seminar at the university Dean’s complex.

BUBT Business Club holds seminar

The Business Club of Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT) has organsed a seminar on ‘Why We Fail?’, at the Hall Room of the university permanent campus recently. Prof Syed Masud Husain, Dean, Faculty of Business, BUBT and Chief Advisor of BUBT Business Club presented the Key note paper in the seminar.

Prof Mian Lutfar Rahman, Proctor, BUBT and Member, BUBT Trust spoke as a special guest while Md Aslam Uddin, Chairman, Department of Marketing, BUBT and Additional Chief Advisor of BUBT Business Club, delivered the welcome speech.

Prof AB Md Badruddoza Miah, Controller of Examinations, BUBT, AHM Azmal Hossain, Joint Registrar, Mohammad Masudur Rahman, Director, Career Guidance Office, BUBT, Deans, Chairmen, Faculty Members and Students were present in the seminar.
