A seminar titled 'C ollaboration with Canadian Universities' was held at Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia on Saturday, reports UNB. IU Pharmacy Department organised the seminar at the Applied Sciences and Technology faculty in the morning. IU Vice-chancellor Prof Dr M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari addressed the seminar as the chief guest and Associate Dean of Calgary University, Canada Dr Anis Haque spoke as the chief discussant.
IU Pro-VC Prof Dr M Shahinoor Rahman and Dean of IU Applied Sciences and Technology faculty Prof Dr Momtazul Islam were present at the seminar as special guests held with convener of the seminar Prof Dr Mohammad Maniruzzaman in the chair. Taslima Parvin and Onuz Sharaogi, students of the Applied Chemistry and Chemical Engineering department, jointly conducted the seminar attended by teachers and students of different departments.
