M musical programme titled ‘Music for Peace’ will be held today in capital’s Midas Centre Building at Dhanmondi, reports UNB.

Edward M Kennedy Centre in Dhaka (EMK centre) will organise the musical event at its centre.

Ebadul Huq Shaikat will try to give the audience the fragrance of peace, love and devotion through his music.

He is a Sitarist from Bangladesh, an absolute artist whose devotion is towards the enchantment of the audience through his music. As a student, he has treaded under the wings of literal Maestros, including Pt Debaprashad Chakrabarti, Pt Kartik Seshadri, Pt Deepak Choudhury, Pt Ajay Sinha Roy, Ust Khurshid Khan and Sree Madan Gopal Das.

Over the years, Shaikat has left crowds in awe at different concerts both in Bangladesh and India - including the Chhayanaut Music conference, Laksyapar Music Conference, among many others.

Tickets will be available at EMK Center before the event while members will get free access to the event.
