The three-day ‘Dhaka Comicon 2017’ has started at the Jamuna Future Park Mall (Level 5) in the capital yesterday. The event, which is considered to be the largest pop culture gathering in Bangladesh, returns this year with the theme ‘Time Spirits’.

This year’s event is sponsored by Iflix.com, where one can subscribe to watch movies and tv shows up to 6 months free, as well as there will be iflix comicon experience zones for the participants to take unlimited pictures. The event is also co-sponsored by Rono, an amazing comic book being launched at Comicon.  

Organisers said about event, “This is your chance to travel back in time and have all your senses tingling, may it be creativity, cosplay, art, photography, music, movies, tv shows, toys, shopping and most of all fun!! The inception of Dhaka Comicon travels back to 2012, this is the sixth year and the seventh event. There is a child in each and every one of us, and this is the largest pop culture gathering under one roof in Bangladesh.”

Tickets will be available everyday at the venue at Tk 200 per day, while Dhaka Comicon 2017 will continue till tomorrow.
