Popular actor Siddiqur Rahman Siddique, a well-known face in showbiz, will be seen modelling in a Television Commercial (TVC) of ‘Ratna Sushom Sar’.

Siddiqur Rahman who is a regular face in small screen but now after three years will act in the TVC Ratna Fertilizer under the direction of talented director Syed Wahiduzzaman Diamond.

Many people may not know that before coming into acting industry he came into limelight as a model in a ‘Milk Candy’ TVC. After that, he modelled for some of other TVCs and audience began to recognize him for his outstanding performance in the drama serial ‘420’ and ‘Houseful’.

Parts of shooting of the Ratna Fertilizer TVC have already finished in Agargaon in the capital and the rest of the shooting will be done in Maona today, industry insiders told

DhakaLive.

In the TVC Siddiqur Rahman Siddique will be seen as a responsible farmer who knows about fertilizer very well and also aware of when to use it in a proper way.

Siddique said, “I am really choosy about working in TVC and because of this the audience did not see me appearing in any TVC for past three years. Syed Wahiduzzaman Diamond is a talented director. Everything just clicked when I got the offer to work under his direction and I started working in the TVC. I hope the audience will like it.”

The TVC will soon be aired on all satellite channels in Bangladesh, said Siddique.

Earlier, for the last time he became model for a mobile company three years back.
