Bangladesh will take on Bhutan in their second match in the SAFF Under-15 women football Championship while India will face Nepal in their second encounter in the day’s second match at the Birsreshtha Mohammed Mostafa Kamal Stadium in the capital.

The first match will take place at 11:30am and the second match will be held at 2:30pm.

Both the favourites, India and Bangladesh are in firm position after winning their respective opening match and if they could win today’s match they would advance to final.

Meanwhile, Bangladesh won their first match against Nepal with the margin of half a dozen goals (6-0) and India also had a comfortable 3-0 win over Bhutan.

Bangladesh team’s head coach Golam Rabbani Choton is also confident about his team’s win against Bhutan when he said, “Hopefully we will win the match, if we the girls could continue their momentum of playing disciplined game as they displayed in the first match.”

“In fact we always focusing to play organised and entertaining game, if the players can play their usual game, I think it will not tough to beat Bhutan, which would confirm 80 percent of our final berth,” said Choton, who has been looking after the women teams for a long time.

Choton does not like to take Bhutan lightly he said, “Bhutan lost their first match to India but there is nothing to be take them lightly, there is nothing to be overwhelmed with easy win against Nepal, our main target to defeat Bhutan,” Choton said after a practice session yesterday at the artificial turf adjacent to the Bangladesh Football Federation Bhaban.
