Women's reserved seat MP Happy Boral and her family members are suffering great anxiety as police failed to catch the offenders who stabbed her daughter a second time at Amlapara School of Bagerhat town, reports UNB. Aditi Boral, 26, daughter of Happy Boral and resident of Shaltola area of the town, was attacked for second time during past eight months.
MP Happy Boral said previously on May 23, some miscreants attacked her daughter while she was sleeping in the house but law enforcers remained clueless as they could not nab anyone in this connection as yet. Her husband, Awami League leader advocate Kalidas Boral, was shot dead by miscreants on August 20, 2000. She alleged that the convicted criminals who killed her husband are behind the fresh attacks on her daughter, adding that "law enforcers are also not sincere enough to do their duties to catch the offenders."
Meanwhile, police superintendent of Bagerhat Pankaj Chandra Roy said "We are scrutinizing the CCTV footage but could not clearly identify the offender. Several teams of police are trying to spot the attacker." Some miscreants attacked them while Happy and her daughter Aditi, were returning home around 6:30pm after attending a programme arranged marking Victory Day at Amlapara High School. The miscreants stabbed Aditi in her abdomen and fled the scene.
