Azmeri Haque Badhan in her 11-year career, has never worked in a Liberation War-based TV play. For the first time Badhan will be seen playing a role in a Victory Day special tele-drama titled ‘Oprokash’. Written and directed by Golam Sohrab Dodul, the six-episode tele-drama will be aired from today on Deepto TV at 6pm till December 21.

In the drama Badhan will play the role of a young girl named Koli, who secretly helps out the Mukti Bahini members or freedom fighters. Badhon will be seen in opposite of Intekhab Dinar.

The shooting for the six episode tele-drama, commenced on Tuesday at Gazipur’s Pubail area.

Badhan expressed her feelings by saying, “ in my 11-year career, for the first time I have worked for a Victory Day tele-drama. In the drama I am playing the role of a young girl who helped the Mukti Bahini. For the drama I had to run in a forest which was really challenging for me.”

“Earlier I was not very serious in acting. I was concentrating on my family and my daughter. But now I am serious about my work”, She added.
