Two youths win Queen’s Young Leaders’ Award

Two Bangladeshi youths -- Ayman Sadiq and Zaiba Tahyya -- won the Queen's Young Leaders' Award 2018 for their achievement in taking lead in their communities using their skills to transform lives, reports UNB. Ayman is the founder of the 10 Minute School, a free online education platform and an organisation with which he has produced over 2,000 video lessons teaching a wide spectrum of academic subjects, mainly focusing on English, mathematics, science and skill development.

Zaiba is a social entrepreneur who works to reduce violence against women through training and employment of women from low income areas in Bangladesh. She is the founder of Female Empowerment Movement (FEM). According to the official website, a search was launched in 2014 to find exceptional young people to receive the first-ever Queen's Young Leaders Awards.
