Bangladesh is now a part of the worldwide iPhone X mania as Compustar PVT Limited (CPL) yesterday officially launched the Apple latest flagship iPhone X which will be available in the local market from today.

The CPL, only authorised distributor of iPhone in Bangladesh, launched the new iPhone X at a buzzing ceremony at a hotel in the capital, a press statement said.

“IPhone X has already created huge hype around the world. Keeping parity with the world market of high-end mobile phone set, we are ready to launch the new sensation in the market as the only proud authorised iPhone distributor of Bangladesh,” CPL Chairman Raquibul Kabir said at the launching ceremony.

Kabir urged the mobile phone users to buy the iPhone X from authorised resellers since many unauthorised handset traders sell counterfeit or refurbished iPhone.

”We don’t want to see people buying counterfeit or refurbished iPhone with the price of new one,” he said, adding “As you will spend a good amount of money for the high-end phone, make sure that you are buying the new phone not the refurbished one.”

Bangladesh government is also loosing huge amount of duty from this sell of

unauthorised mobile handsets, he added.

He also requested all to visit www.Compustarltd.com to verify the authenticity of

the phone before buying any iPhone handset from the market.

He advised all to visit www.compustarltd.com to verify the authenticity of the phone before buying any iPhone from the market and also check the list of authorized iPhone re-sellers.

Chairman of Union Group Rana Shafiullah, Deputy Managing Director Shawon Rana and CPL Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Colonel (retd) Mr Mohammad Akber Hossain, were also present on the occasion.

iPhone X will be available in silver and space gray in 64GB and 256GB models starting at Tk 130,990 and Tk 150,500 respectively in Bangladesh market.
