Mustafizur Rahman played his first BPL match after 2015 but his return to the country’s most glamorous domestic tournament wasn’t impressive one. Though the scoreboard showed he scalped two wickets, those were the tail-enders wicket as the Comilla Victorians top order batsmen played him with ease. He conceded 32 runs in his 3.1 overs, which meant he went for 10 runs per over. Mustazifur’s first BPL outing was with Dhaka Dynamites in 2015 when he impressed everyone with his deadly cutter and slower. Dynamites didn’t win the title that year but Mustafizur’s performance paved the way for him to play the IPL. He missed the 2016 BPL following his shoulder injury.
