Zahid Reza Babu, curator of the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium (ZACS), hinted such at media during a cross-media conversation at the venue ground yesterday. “The difference of the wickets between Dhaka and Chittagong will be witnessed at the BPL matches. There will be no uneven bounce on the surface of the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium the likes of Dhaka,” said Zahid Reza.
“Batsmen did not get more runs in Dhaka due to its uneven bounce. But they will not get it in Chittagong. As a result, the batsmen will get more runs and matches will be high-scoring encounters,” Babu told reporters. But he denies to make his comments on the wickets of the first day’s matches in the port city.
