Runa Khan’s debut film ‘Chhitkini’
to hit cinemas Friday

Talented actress Runa Khan is very much excited right this moment as her debut film ‘Chhitkini’ is going to hit cinemas on coming Friday. This film is directed by Sazedul Awal.

Runa was a little bit upset as two of her later films--‘Halda’ directed by Tauquir Ahmed and ‘Gohin Baluchor’ directed by Bodrul Anam Soud--have already got the release dates, while she had no clue about the release date of her first film ‘Chhitkini’. But finally, she has received the good news on Saturday that ‘Chhitkini’ will be released on November 24.

The film ‘Chhitkini’ has been made based on the life of a stone quarry worker named Moimona. Runa plays the central character here.

Runa said, “‘Chhitkini’ is my first film, so I have lots of expectations about the film from the beginning. I am grateful to director Sazedul Awal as he gave me a chance to act in the central character in the film. He fulfilled my dream of working in my film first.”

Runa Khan wants to act as long as she is alive. She said, “I believe my acting is not up to the mark. But I still love to stay with acting. I want to act in theatre, television and film until my death.”

“Apart from my acting life, my personal life is very important to me. My husband, my only daughter and my family are very important to me”, she added.

Runa Khan’s other two films ‘Halda’ and Gohin Baluchor’ will be released on December 1 and December 29 respectively.
