Legendary fast bowler Waqar Younis landed Bangladesh yesterday as he would mentor the BPL franchise Sylhet Sixers. The Sylhet Sixers authority informed that he would be available for the whole tournament.

Waqar came to Bangladesh for a one-day tour just before the BPL. He mainly came here for a bowling camp of the Sylhet Sixers. He was also present in Sylhet Sixers jersey unveiling ceremony and conducted bowling hunt program.

After a whirlwind start to the tournament, Sylhet tasted two consecutive defeat to be displaced from the top spot. Though they have same seven points like Dhaka Dynamites, they played one match more than the defending champions and are comfortably behind them on the basis of net run rate.

Sylhet will take on Rajshahi Kings in their next match today while Khulna Titans will face off Chittagong Vikings.
