JU BCL men vandalise buses over triffling matter

JAHANGIRNAGAR UNIVERSITY: The activists of Jahangirnagar University unit of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) damaged six buses of Welcome Paribahan on the campus on Saturday evening over a trifling matter, reports UNB.

Sources said Enamuzzaman Shuov, a second-year student of Economics department of the university, got into a Welcome bus at Shyamoli in Dhaka on Friday noon while his friend Jahid Adnan of Finance and Banking department missed the bus as it was running at high speed. Shuvo told the matter to bus supervisor but he did not cared it, rather he misbehaved with him and got out him from the bus forcibly at Kallayanpur.

Hearing the news, some BCL activists of Maulana Bhashani Hall forcefully stopped Nabinagar-bound six buses of Welcome Paribahan coming from Dhaka and took them to the campus in the afternoon.

Later, all the six buses were vandalised on Saturday evening by some 10 to 12 friends of Shuvo, a BCL activist of JU unit, as the owner did not resolve the matter by the timeframe.
