A two weeklong solo art exhibition of artist Mahbub Zamal Shamim titled ‘Jungle of Humanity’ will begin tomorrow at the ‘Gallery-2’ of National Art Gallery, Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (BSA) in the capital. ARTCON in association with BSA has arranged this event.

Renowned artist Mustafa Monwar, pioneer architect Bashirul Haq, famous sculptor Hamiduzzaman Khan, Brigadier General Dr Suraiya Rahman (Retd.), Professor Firdous Azim, Professor Dr Ashrafunessa, noted artist Shishir Bhattacharjee and Dhaka University professor sculptor Lala Rukh Selim, will jointly inaugurate the exhibition on the BSA premises tomorrow. Director General of BSA Liaquat Ali Lucky will preside over the ceremony.

Born in 1960, Artist Mahbub Zamal Shamim graduated from Sculpture Department of Institute of Fine Arts, University of Dhaka in 1985 and obtained his MFA degree in 1990.

The exhibition will remain open to all everyday from 11 am to 8 pm until November 24.
