After a hiatus of four years, National Film Award winning actress Wahida Mallik Jolly has acted in a new film. She will be seen appearing as the mother of actor Arifin Shuvo in the film titled ‘Ekti Cinemar Galpo’ directed by actor-director Alamgir. DhakaLive has news that the audience-admired actress has already completed the shooting of her part in the meantime.

Jolly said about working in the film, “Though my character in the film is minor, but it is important enough. I have tried to enact the role earnestly. Besides, as a director, actor Alamgir is truly outstanding and I found his pre-production is much organised. As a result, the film seems to be a great work and I hope the viewers will enjoy it.”

Jolly was seen in the film ‘Mrittika Maya’ for the last time and the film also brought her the National Film Award in the costume design category for the year 2013.
