Robbers loot 
three houses

Robbers looted three houses including the residence of a forest department official in Manikganj and Gazipur districts on Saturday night and yesterday.
In Manikganj, robbers beat up the inmates and looted 28 tolas of gold and cash Tk 1.5 lakh from two houses of Harirampur upazila yesterday morning.
Locals said a gang of masked robbers numbering 10 to 15 entered the house of Amirul Islam of Chala village by breaking the door at around 12 am.
House owner Amirul Islam said the robbers beat up the inmates when they refused to hand over the key of the almirah.  The robbers then looted eight tolas of gold and cash Tk 70,000 at gun point.
The robbers then stormed into the house Habibur Rahman Biswas, Arif of Kowri village at around 2 am and looted 20 tolas of gold and cash Tk 88,000, mobile phone sets and other valuables.
In Gazipur, a robbery was committed at the residence of a forest department official at Bhurolia on Saturday night. Forest official Ajoy Kumar Bishwash, 45, and his wife Shaymoli Bala were seriously injured in an attack by the robbers.
Range officer of Bhawal forest Shah Mohammed Hossain said a group of masked and armed robbers raided the residential campus of the department at Bhorolia on Saturday night. The robbers looted valuables from the house of wild animal keeper of the range Ajoy Kumar Bish-wash after they entered the house breaking open the door. The robbers beat and injured Ajoy and his wife Shaymoly indiscriminately while they were trying to prevent them. When neighbors rushed to the spot hearing the screams of victims, the robbers fled away.
