Bangladesh Udichi Shilpi Goshthi steps into 50th year of its eventful journey. Udichi, one of most prominent cultural organisations in the country, is going to celebrate its 49th founding anniversary across the country today with the slogan ‘Cholechito Obiram Muktir Michchhile, Lorechhito Muktir Pothe’. Elderly farmer leader Kazi Sohrab Hossain will inaugurate the programme at 4pm at the Shawkat Osman Auditorium of the Central Public Library in the capital. Besides, artiste Anwar Hossain, Udichi’s founding member Akhter Hussain, Mahfuza Khanom, journalist Abed Khan, Sammilito Sangskritik Jote president Golam Kuddus will attend the programme as special guests. The programme featuring procession, get-together, discussion, music, dance, recitation and screening documentary and presentation of people’s song will be held all the district units of  Udichi Shilpi Goshthi.
