Shahnoor acts in 
new tele-drama

Alongside working in the films, actress Shahnoor acts in TV plays on a regular basis. Keeping up with this trend, she has acted in a new tele-drama titled ‘Ei Shohore Ar Thaka Holo Na’ directed by Shaheen. DhakaLive has news that the shooting of the tele-drama has already been completed in the capital’s Uttara area recently.

Informing that she has played an important character, Shahnoor said about working in the tele-drama, “The story of the tele-drama is taken from contemporary lifestyle. I have played an important role in it. It can be said that I have acted in a single episode tele-drama after a long time. I felt wonderful to work in the tele-drama. I hope the viewers will like it.”

Shahnoor, however, has acted in more than 50 films and 300 tele-dramas in her career till now. Even, she is producing tele-dramas nowadays and already contributed to produce three tele-dramas successfully. Moreover, she has decided to introduce herself as a director in the near future and taking necessary preparation for the insightful job.

Shahnoor said, “This is quite a tough job to work as a director. Though I acted in numerous films and dramas, I am not courageous enough to direct a drama. I didn’t consider myself eligible for the occupation. But now, some of my nearest and dearest ones and well wishers inspired me to follow the path of a director.”

On the other hand, Shahnoor has recently completed the work of two new films and these are—Liberation War-based ‘Lelamanthan’ directed by Zahid Hossain and ‘Kaktarua’ directed by Faruq Hossain.

‘Apoharan’ was the last film of Shahnoor which saw its release in last Eid. Directed by Babu Roy, the film was released in Kolkata. The actress’ 50th film is Badiul Alam Khokon-directed ‘Raja Babu’.
