Dhaka Cosmopolitan Rotary Club will construct a hospital for rural distressed people. It was informed at an installation ceremony of Rotary Club of Dhaka Cosmopolitan held at Raowa Convention Centre, Mohakhali in the capital on Sunday, says a press release.
Rasheda K Chowdhury, former advisor to a caretaker government, was the chief guest. Rotary governor SAM Showkat Hssossain, governor elect Muhammad Ayub, Rakib Sarder, Md Ibrahim, assistant governor Abul Khair Chowdhury, club president Saifur Rahman, secretary Sadesh Debnath addressed the programme. Governor Nominee FH Arif, former district governors Safina Rahman, Jalal U Ahmed, Zainal Abedin, Shamsul Huda, Hafizulah, Ishtiaque Zaman, Rafiq Siddique, Ghulam Mustafa, were also present. Rasheda K Chowdhury called to all Rotarians to come to help distressed people specially to women and children. Future governor Rotary Ayub hoped that the hospital will play vital role in health sector.
