Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) seized a truckload of 6 tones of Indian cumin worth Tk 35 lakh at Jamtola in Sharsha upazila in Benapole yesterday afternoon, reports UNB..
Tipped off that a big consignment of smuggled Indian cumin was being sent to Dhaka through Jamtola, a team of the border security force conducted a drive there at noon, said Lieutenant Col Abdur Rahim, commanding officer of BGB Battalion-23.
