Abahani Limited will observe the 40th death anniversary of the club’s founder
Sheikh Kamal today with due solemnity. The programme will start from 12.01 am with the club’s directors, officials and players placing wreaths on Kamal’s mural  on club premises, Dhanmondi, and pray for the salvation of the departed soul. The national and the club flags will be hoisted at half-mast.
The club officials and players will visit Sheikh Kamal’s grave at Banani graveyard at 10 am in the city to offer fateha.
The programme also includes Quran khwani, distribution of cooked food among the destitute after Zohr prayers and a milad and Doa-mahefil at the club after Asr prayer.
