‘Ityadi’ shot at Hardinge Bridge point

Popular magazine show ‘Ityadi’ is famous for picturesque outdoor shooting, and keeping up with this trend, the latest episode of the show has been shot at the century old only steel made railway bridge of the country–Hardinge Bridge in Pabna’s Ishwardi. Defying inclement weather and rain, thousands of people gathered at the Hardinge Bridge point to witness the stage recording of the show.

‘Ityadi’ is known for presenting informative documentary on various subjects. As the episode has been shot in Pabna, so the show contains a documentary on legendary actress Suchitra Sen, who grew up in Pabna and spent a significant part of her life there. There is also another documentary on Pabna’s agricultural activist Badsha, who is not bothered about publicity, but rather silently dedicating his life in agricultural development by going door to door and giving away free seeds and helping villagers grow vegetables. Pabna is also known for its Mental Hospital. ‘Ityadi’ will contain an investigative documentary on this mental hospital as well.  

Pabna has also produced many cultural personalities. One is Bappa Majumder who has sung a number with his band Dolchhut. Actor Chanchal Chowdhury has given vocal to another song which emphasizes on the love and emotional attachments between parents, brothers, sisters, friends, etc. This episode of ‘Ityadi’ also boasts with foreign segment, regular comedy skits, invited guest segment, et al. Ityadi’s art direction is given by Mukimul Anwar Mukim and the show is sponsored by Keya Cosmetics Limited.

Planned, directed and emceed by Hanif Sanket, ‘Ityadi’ will be aired on BTV and BTV World on 29 September at 8:30pm.
