Lustrous model-actress Sadia Islam Mou, who feels comfortable to introduce herself as a dance artiste, is going to perform dance at a festival in Korea. She will perform at the festival titled ‘12th Migrant Arirang Multicultural Festival (MAMF)’ in Korea. DhakaLive has news that Mou has already left the country for Korea last night to take part in the festival, which is set to kick off today.

Mou, along with seven dance artistes from Bangladesh will perform at MAMF from September 29 to October 1 in Korea. Alongside Mou, seven other participating artistes in the troupe are Farhana Chowdhury Belly, Farhana Khan, Hena Hossain, Supriya Shabnam Protiva, Abdur Rashid Swapan, Latifur Rahman Faruqi and Wahiduddin Nayem.

However, Mou took a break from her professional activity for a few years after her marriage and remained busy with her family life and children. She has returned to work a few years ago, and working regularly in the showbiz since then.

Though she performed dance at several programmes during her tours to different countries arranged by private organisations, she was unable to become a part of any government tour during last 22 years.

Mou said about her government tour after 22 years, “I had become extremely busy with my family and children after my marriage, as a result, I didn’t agree to attend any government tour when I received such proposals. After so many years, I have become a part of government tour and going to perform at a festival abroad. This is really a joyous and fascinating matter for me. I hope it will be a tour of beautiful memories.”

To note, Mou being a part of government tour had performed at a programme in Turkey for the last time.
