Bangladesh Hockey Federation (BHF) announced an 18-membember final squad for the upcoming tenth Hero Asia Cup (men) Hockey Championship yesterday.

The natioanl team, as part of thier preparation for the Asia Cup have already travelled China and played eight practice matcehs agaisnt different teams at Guansu province.

Asia Cup will be held in Dhaka from October 11 to 22 at the newly decorated Maulana Bhashani Hockey Stadium.   

However, Rasel Mahmud Jimi was named as the captain while Pushklar Khisha Mimu as his deputy while, four players have been kept stand-by.   

The squad: Asim Gope, Abu Sayed Nippon, Ashraful Islam, Khorshedur Rahman, Farhad Ahmed Shitul, Rezaul Karim Babu, Imrah Hassan pintu, Mamunur Rahman Chayan, Rumman Sarker, Nayeem Uddin, Hassan Jubaer Niloy, Sarwar Mhossain, Kamruzzaman Rana, Rasel Mahmud Jimi (captain), Pushkar Khisha Mimu (vice-captain), Milon Hossain, Mainuk Islam Kowshik and Arshad Hossain.
