Dubbed “Colourful Yunnan—A New Vision for Blueberries Worldwide,” the 2017 International Blueberry Summit news conference was recently held in Qujing, Yunnan.

With an opening ceremony, a forum called the International Blueberry Organisation Roundtable, the International Blueberry Industry Development Forum and other activities, the conference comprehensively showcased new achievements in the development of the blueberry industry both at home and abroad. Attendees exchanged their practical experiences in upgrading the blueberry industry and explored cooperative and development opportunities in the global blueberry industry.

The 2017 International Blueberry Summit news conference is the fifth summit news conference held by the International Blueberry Organization. It was held for the first time in China. In recent years, Qujing has been vigorously developing its blueberry industry. The city has now established a high-end blueberry industrial chain integrating variety development, breeding programmes, farm demonstration areas, warehousing, sorting, logistics and sales, showing good development momentum.
