Bangladesh Test captain Mushfiqur Rahim does not consider himself as a big player to take rest like the ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan. When asked about Shakib’s break from Test cricket ahead of their important tour to South Africa, Mushfiq made the comment with smile at a pre-tour press briefing at the Media Block of the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur. However, he said that the team will badly miss him in the month-long-tour in African country. “In his absence, we’ve to include two players including batsman Mahmudullah Riyad and bowler Taijul Islam to fill the shoes of Shakib,” said Mushfiqur Rahim. Earlier, the new-team manager and chief selector Minhajul Abedin Nannu brushed aside the rumour about Tamim Iqbal going into the rest after Shakib. So far, Nannu told media that he has no knowledge about it.
